Abstract :The existing state of studies on plant chimeras and it application on plant breeding were introduced in this
paper . The plant chimera types and stableness ，the development of tissue and organ in plant chimeras ，interactions in
genetically different cells ，and the opportunity for plant breeding were reviewed respectively .
