T herelaysatellitecanbeseen asthebridgebetweentheuserspacecraftsandth egroundstation. TheschedulingproblemwithinTDRSS (Tracking and DataRelayS atelliteSystem) isaveryimportant problem. Itanalysesthecharacteristicsandtheconstraintsoftherelaysatellitescheduling, andthen buildsthe CSP (Cons traints Satisfaction Problem) model of the problem based on CSP theory. TheCSP model is solvedwith STK (SatelliteToolKits) andsimulationmethod. Computational experimentsindicatethattheperformanceoftheCSP modelis quitegood.
