Content: We have one more plug-in unit and that is our SAU(Service Access Unit). This unit doesn’t have anything to do with the traffic. This unit only provides additional service features. This unit has connections in the back plane with all the other units in the AMM. Lets take a closer look and see what we can do with this unit. Objective: Explaining how we configure our terminals in different AMM:s Content: Now we have been talking about our AMM:s and our different plug-in units so lets continue looking how we can combine all this together to different terminals. We start with the AMM 1U. In this AMM you can only have one plug-in unit and to be able to send traffic you need a MMU. With this AMM we can have one 1+0 terminal. Objective: Explaining how we connect the traffic on the different types of terminals. Content: What we need for a 1+0 terminal is the outdoor part (antenna and radio), the radio cable, one AMM and at least one plug-in unit (the MMU).
