1001-4322(2012)08-1811-05 Numericalanalysisofsystemtransferfunctionin interferometricimagingsystem XuJiancheng1 WangFeizhou1 DengYan2 ChaiLiqun2 1.InstituteofInformationOptics,ZhejiangNormalUniversity,Jinhua321004,China 2.ChengduFineOpticalEngineeringResearchCenter,Chengdu610041,China Abstract:Theperformanceofphaseimagingininterferometricimagingsystemiswellcharacterizedby thesystemtransferfunction(STF),TheSTFoftheinterferometrieimagingsystemisanalyzednumericallyby assumingthatthesystemislinearandshift-invariantforthecomplexfield.Twostandardphaseobjects,sinu soidalphasegratingandphasestep,areemployedandsimulatedtodeterminetheSTF.Numericalsimulation resultsshowthattheSTFdecreasesasthewavefrontaberrationofinterferometricimagingsystemincreases.It alsoshowsthattheinterferometricimagingsystemisapproximatelylinearforsmallphase(farlessthan1rad) butexplicitlynonlinearforlargephase(largerthan0.5rad).TheSTFhasavisibledropatonehalforonethird ofthecut-offfrequencyoftheimagingsystemwhentheamplitudeofsinusoidalphaseis1rad.Foraphasestep withaheightof π/2rad,theSTFhasnovisibledropbutdecreasesslowlywiththeincreasingofspatialfrequen cy.TheresultsprovideausefulguidancetothedesignofinterferometerandthemeasurementofSTFandpow erspectrumdensityinexperiment.
