Abstract T he in-situ sel-f generating Ti( C, N) erami oating prepared on the surfa e of T-i 6A-l
4V alloy by laser ladding ( LC) deposition w as investigated, where a 500W pulsed YAG laser
w as used as radiation sour e w ith the 99%-purity N used for nitrogenation and the titanium
