Main characters Real peaple When he is young,one day Desmond Doss figet with his brother and hurt him. From then on,hurting brother and his father’s painfully sad to comrades(战友) let him realise preciousness?of?life.  He thought he could not hide behind his fellow countrymen as a coward. So he decided to join the army In the army Doss obey all the commands by the commander. But he believes that the doctrine(教义) is not to kill and refuse to pick up the gun.So many soldiers thought he was a coward(懦夫)。 Whether the chief(长官) or comrade（战友）start to cause troubles And sent him to a military court（军事法庭）, forced him to retire(退役) 他的父亲找到一个已经是准将的战友，将他的信交到了军事法庭，信中说道斯有权利拒绝携带武器。 在这样的干预下，原告撤下了诉讼。 Later they climb the Hacksaw Ridge and start to fight with Japanese army. But Japanese army is very strong ,so American army choose to retreat .Everyone climbed down the Hacksaw Ridge . But Doss heard cry for help .So he didn’t leave but go to save them. He laid the wounded(伤员) down the Hacksaw Ridge with a rope 。 In two days ,he saved hundereds of people and 75 people survived. The captain found Doss and expressed his sorry and respect. After Desmond Doss went back to his country,he received the Medal of Honor,America’s highest award for courage under fire. 信仰使人睿智，信仰使人谦逊，信仰拯救灵魂，信仰高于生命!
