Related diversification is a strategy that enterprises adopt consciously in order to pursue strategic competitive advantages and strengthen or expand their existing resources, capabilities and core competitiveness. Irrelevant diversification strategy can create value through financial economy.

The formal definition of the corporate layer strategy is the behavior of a company in selecting and managing a business portfolio in multiple industries or product markets in order to gain a competitive advantage. The essence of the corporate strategy is to make the company as a whole more powerful than the sum of its business units alone. Diversification strategy is a basic type of corporate strategy, that is, the highest level of enterprise for the development of a number of business combinations. An important reason for the adoption of diversification strategy is that the managers of the enterprises with this strategy have unique management capabilities, can manage many businesses simultaneously, and can also enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. At present, the most popular theory of diversification is that when an enterprise has additional resources, capabilities, and core competencies and can invest in multiple locations, it should diversify.
There are many reasons for enterprises to adopt diversification strategy as company level strategy. Most enterprises implement diversification strategy in order to enhance the strategic competitive advantage of the whole enterprise. When the diversification strategy strengthens the strategic competitive advantage of the enterprise, the overall value of the enterprise will be improved. Another
