The equivalent A-weighted sound pressure level per hour LAeq is used as the evaluation index for the sound insulation window design. Then, the LAeq is corrected accord- ing to personal annoyance level associated with different type of noises and time period. The sound insulation values of the windows designed with the corrected LAeq can basically satisfy the requirement of environment protection.
