Abstract Interpersonal trust is a positive expectations of others’ reliable degree and a willingness of a trust behavior. The process of interpersonal trust is social. Interpersonal trust is not only one kind of stable psychological traits, but also one kind of dynamic social behaviors.This study compared the interpersonal trust of 128 college students and 128 social workers by using questionnaires and doing an experiment, and it also explored the influencing factors of interpersonal trust. This study included three parts. Study 1 changed the experiment paradigm of Trust Game and explored the participants’ interpersonal trust behavior when participants played different roles under different levels of risk . It also compared the differences of interpersonal trust behavior between the two groups. Study 2 used Trust Circle Questionnaire to investigate the participants’ interpersonal trust level (the size of trust circle) when participants communicated different themes under different levels of risk. It also compared the differences of interpersonal trust level between the two groups. Study 3 used the Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire and Interpersonal Trust Scale to investigate the participants’ level of coping style and interpersonal trust traits. It also explored the orrelation between coping style and factors of interpersonal trust. The three parts’ results were as follows: 1.
