贵阳中医学院 2007 届硕士研究生学位论文 Abstract Objective : To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on learning and memory and the contents of Glu and GABA of the brain issue s in experimental Vascular Dementia (VD) rats. Methods : A total of 50 successful model SD rats were randomly divided into sham-operation group(n=10), model group(n=10), EA group(n=10), Nimotop group(n=10)and the combination of EA and Nimotop group(n=10) .VD model was established by using 4- vessel occlusion method .EA (2mA, 150Hz) was delivered to “Baihui” , “Shenshu” and “Geshu” for 20 min through the inserted acupuncture needles, once daily and continuously for15 days. In Nimotop group, Nimotop (12mg/kg) was fed to the rats once daily, 15 days altogether. In the combination of EA and Nimotop group, EA and Nimotop are combination with the way above. Learning and memory was determined by water Morris method. The contents of Glu and GABA of the brain issues were determined by Antomatic Amino Acids Analyzer Results : Place navigation test showed that compared with sham-operation group, the escape latency of rats in model group increased considerably (P0.01); while in comparison with model group, the increased escape latency values of rats in EA group ,Nimotop group and the combination of EA and Nimotop group were shortened significantly(P0.01). No significant differences were found between EA and sham-operation , between medication and sham- operation groups and between the combination of EA and Nimotop group and sham- operation groups (P0.05).
