Abstract Abstract With the development of science and technology and computer network, we have entered the digital age. In the digital age, the Internet emerged a large number of electronic reading materials and multimedia reading material. Thus we learn that fundamental changes have taken place in the reading of college students, it is no longer a single way of traditional text reading, but also contains the traditional way of text reading, electronic hypertext reading, network reading, mobile phones reading and the like, digital reading methods. In this paper, through literature research and practical investigation, the paper analyzes the current situation of college students digital reading and the influence of digital reading to college students, some ways to promote digital reading promotion strategy, such as optimization of digital reading content, enhance the function of reading devices and improve the digital reading experience, perfect the digital service of university library and so on.
