Step 2. Cardinal numbers Revise the cardinal numbers.Teach the students more cardinal numbers. (one hundred, one thousand, one million, one billion, eleven point five). Write these words and numbers on the blackboard. Ask them to read these words and give them more examples. Step3. Practice Write some numbers on the blackboard and ask the students to read them in English. Go to P14, and ask the students to read the cardinal numbers and finish B1 by themselves. Ask the students to listen to the teacher, and write down the numbers: 598, 7493,… Step 4 . Telephone numbers Tell the students your telephone number in English, and see whether they can write it down in numbers.
