Abstract As the execrable environment and the high temperature of the material,
it is very difficult to measure the width using the traditional way, and the precision
cannot be pledged. The non-contact measurement emerged, it used two CCD to make
modeling of solid geometry and then calculated the width of material, and the method
prevented the jumpiness and crispation of the material from working on the precision
of the measurement. And the method imp roved the precision of the dynamic
measurement.
