China Abstract Objective To discuss the management scheme of improving nursing quality. MethodsUsing the attribution theory, we retrospectively analyzed 128 problems found in the third-degree quality inspections of wards between December 2009 and November 2010, second-degree quality inspections for midnights and holidays, and fi rst-degree nursing quality self-checks. ResultsNursing patients with severe diseases, ward standard managements, nurses having worked for 5 years or less, and noontime nursing were the major items of deduction. ConclusionIn order to change the current situation, we should enhance rational allocation of nursing human resources, perform attribution analysis on nursing quality control, train junior nurses, focus on nursing at important time periods, and pay special attention on human-based managements.
