Jhon runs faster than Mary. 2、比较级前可用 much, a little, a lot, a bit, even, still,far等说明比较的程度，也可以用表示数量的词说明比较的差额。 eg:This room is much bigger than that one. This question is a little more difficult than that one. I’m two years younger than you. He is a head taller than his brother. I’m younger than you by two years. He is taller than his brother by a head. 3、用“比较级+ and +比较级”结构。表示“越来越……” eg:Things are getting better and better. She is becoming more and more beautiful. It is getting hotter and hotter. 4、“The +比较级……,the +比较级……”表示“越……,就越……” eg:The more friends we have, the happier we can feel. The more you eat, the fatter you will be. The more you learn ,the more you will know . 5、形容词的比较级前面一般不加冠词，但表示“两者中较……”的时候，要用“the+比较级+of the two …… ” eg:This is the easier of the two problems. She is the taller of the two girls. 6、比较级相比的两项应当相同或相当。 eg:Her pronunciation is better than her brother’s. Our classroom is bigger than theirs. . 7、比较对象一致时，常用代词that /those 代替比较的对象。 eg:The weather in Beijing is colder than that in Changsha.
