英语课程标准指出：英语课程承担着培养学生基本英语素养和发展学生思维能力的任务，即学生通过英语课程掌握基本的英语语言知识，发展基本的英语听说读写技能，激发学生的英语学习兴趣。
《新课标》倡导任务型的教学模式，即让学生在教学活动中参与和完成真实的教学任务，从中体验学习的快乐。因此我采用了“任务——探究——创造”型教学方法，让学生在有趣、开放式的语言环境中学会观察、思考、讨论和总结，在“用”中发展思维能力、创新意识和各种语言应用能力。
一、教学目标
1.知识目标
能够听说读写句型“This is…”和“What are you doing?Irsquo;m…”。
2.能力目标
能够掌握一定的阅读技巧，并能在实际情境中运用所学对话：What are you doing?Irsquo;m….
3.情感目标
培养学生积极与他人合作、主动参与交流的学习精神。
二、教学重难点
1.重点
“What are you doing? Irsquo;m doing….”的说和写以及“This is….”
2.难点
“Do you want to go to the Childrenrsquo;s Center？”的理解和朗读。
三、课前准备
CAI,word cards,practice paper,phone and so on.
四、教学过程
1.热身、复习（Warm-up/Revision）
Letrsquo;s chant.(44页)
Listen and do（让学生边说唱边做动作，在这一活动中复习前面学过的知识，调节气氛，激发兴趣。）
2.呈现新课（Presentation）
（1）Show 2 pictures：ZhangPeng and John.Teacher ask：“What are they doing？”引出talking（出示词条talking to…）。
（2）(任务一)Listen to the tape and answer the questions:
a.What is ZhangPeng doing?
b.What is John doing?
根据学生的回答，板书：What are you doing?
Irsquo;m reading a book.
Irsquo;m doing the dishes.
（任务二）Read the dialogue and answer the questions:
a.How does ZhangPeng introduce himself in the phone?
(板书：This is….或者Itrsquo;s….)
b.Where do they want to go?
Learn the new phrase and new sentence：Childrenrsquo;s Center（让学生把这句话分开学，能降低难度。如先学Childrenrsquo;s Center，再学go to the Childrenrsquo;s Center，最后学“Do you want to go to the Childrenrsquo;s Center?”）
（课件展示Childrenrsquo;s Center，里面有许多儿童正在干着不同的事情。）
(任务三) Read the dialogue carefully, and fill in the blanks：
John and ______ are good friends. They often play together.
Today is Sunday.John is ______ in the kitchen.Zhang Peng is ______ in the study.They want to go to the ______ at ______.They are happy.
