状语从句学习辅导讲座 普定县一中 英语组 姜玉敏 2011年12月28日 状语从句 状语从句是一种副词性从句，通常由一个从属连词或一个起连词作用的词组引导。 Different Kinds of Adverbial Clauses: 1.Adverbial Clauses of Time:（时间状语从句） 2.Adverbial Clauses of Reason(原因状语从句） 3.Adverbial Clauses of Conditions(条件状语从句） 4.Adverbial Clauses of Place (地点状语从句） 5.Adverbial Clauses of Purpose (目的状语从句） 6.Adverbial Clauses of Result（结果状语从句） 7.Adverbial Clauses of Comparison（比较状语从句） 8.Adverbial Clauses of Concession(让步状语从句） 9.Adverb Clauses of Manner(方式状语从句 ) 状语从句在考题中由于其他从句的干扰，以及倒装句，强调句的介入，使得状语从句更为复杂。 一、 时间状语从句 常见的连词(组)： when, while, as, before, after, once, till, until, as soon as, hardly ...when, scarcely ...when, no sooner ...than等。 可以引导时间状语从句的副（介）词（短语）或名词短语： directly, instantly, immediately, by the time, the moment, the second, the minute, the instant, every time, each time, next time, the last time等。 注意点如下： 1)He left me a good impression the first time I met him. 2)Whenever we met with difficulties, they came to help us.(每当) 3) She had no sooner arrived at the station than the train started to move. While Her parents died while she was at school. You can go swimming while I’m having lunch. I like math while my sister likes English. While I am willing to help, I do not have much time available. when I had just opened my book when the phone rang. It will be a few days before we know the full results. It was a long time before I got to sleep. 过了好长时间我才睡着了。 2) It will not be ...before ... 要不了多久就…… It was not ...before ... 没多久就…… eg: It wasn’t long before he told me about the news. 没多久他就告诉了我那条新闻。 3. since引导状语的从句句型及要点 It’s/ It has been+一段时间+ since … 自从……以来过了多久了 （该结构从句中谓语动词的性质决定最终的意义。从句
