Aiming at the redundancy problems among the indexes, the evaluation system was reduced by using the rough set attribute reduction algorithm based on the improved discernibility matrix, and the case study was carried out on a certain special railway of dangerous goods in Chengdu Railway Bureau. The results showed that ten indexes such as the shipper qualification, safety monitoring system and others were the key risk factors after the attribute reduction.
