Through literature examination, this paper analyzes the features of the educational development in the Netherlands including its system, the current situation, and the recent changes. The school types, the choice of schools, the curriculums, and the education budget of the Netherlands are introduced and then compared with those in Taiwan. The higher education in the Netherlands provides multiple choices and flexible development based on the actual needs of the society while promoting its academic environment to be more international.
