自动指纹识别系统设计与实现 摘要　指纹识别是生物识别技术中的一种。指纹具有唯一性和不变性。这个特点使得指纹在生物特征识别技术中得以正式应用。指纹识别技术飞速发展及其广泛应用开创个人身份鉴别的新时代！ 本文根据指纹的相关理论和算法，用VC++设计并实现了一个自动指纹识别系统。基于这个系统的特点，本文主要包括三部分：一、指纹图像的预处理；二、特征的提取；三、特征的匹配。 指纹图像预处理主要包括五部分(1)图像质量评估；(2)图像分割；(3)图像增强；(4)图像二值化；(5)图像的细化。确定两枚指纹是否相同主要依靠细节特征(即纹线的终点和分叉点)的匹配。mplementation of an Automated Fingerprint Identification System Abstract: Fingerprint identification is one technology of biologic character identification. Fingerprint is unique and invariable. So fingerprint identification has been applied formally in biologic character identification technology. Rapid development and extensive application about the technology of fingerprint identification have initiated a new times of individual identification. Based on theories and algorithms of fingerprint identification, the paper designs and implements an automated fingerprint identification system with VC++. According to the character of system, the paper is divided into three components: pre-processing, feature extraction, matching of fingerprint image. Fingerprint image pre-processing has mainly five parts: image quality evaluation, image segmentation, image enhancement, binarization and thinning. To judge whether two images are captured from the same finger it’s based on the result of fingerprint minutiae matching, terminative point and crotch. It’s the core of the system to get the minutiae. In image minutia matching, we get the matching level according to the sum of matching minutiae data. Experiments have been done and the results show that the devised automated fingerprint identification system is effective.
