On the basis of analyzing the relevant researchers foundation comprehension to the logistics quantity, an explicit definition about the logistics quantity was carried out. The article also analyzed in detail the content and application of the logistics quantity. Finally, the article explained the basic method and steps of investigating and predicting the microscopic and macroscopic logistics quantity, and some notices during the period of predicting.
