Unit 4 Don’t eat in class. 第一课时New words and phrases Teaching and learning Goals: 一、语言知识和语言功能: 1.能争取学会使用下列词汇造句子。 rule, arrive, hall, dining hall, listen, fight, sorry ,outside, wear, important, bring, quiet, out, practice, dish, before, dirty, kitchen, more, noisy, relax, read, terrible, feel, strict, remember, follow, luck, keep, hair, learn 2. 能争取学会使用下列常用短语造句子。 be on time, listen to, have to, go out, do the dishes, make one’s bed, be strict with sb, follow the rules 3. 要求学生认读下列词汇。 4. 理解、翻译并复述运用本节课的词汇所编写的故事。 二、学习策略: 1. 依据图片记忆词汇。(Remember the words and phrases with the help of the pictures.) 2. 在语境中理解和记忆词汇。(Understand and remember the words and phrases in the context.) 3. 依据读音规则、构词规律理解和记忆词汇。(Understand and remember the words and phrases according to phonetic rules, the structures of the words and phrases.) 4. 基于同伴互助的方式学习词汇,并运用新学词汇与同伴交流。(Learn and express with the new words in groups.)Nothing can be accomplished without norms or standards. ”。对于教师来说,不仅要传授学生知识,更要教学生如何做人。 Teaching and learning steps: Step1. Warming-up. Play a flash about the traffic rules and show the word rule. 【设计意图】通过一段有关交通规则的flash引出rule 一词,并告诉学生本单元我们将学习不同地方的不同规则,守规矩才可以成为受欢迎的人。 Step 2. Learn how to read the new words of Unit4. (P122-123) 1. First, read the new words using the phonetics(音标) and mark(标记) the words difficult to pronounce (难发音的单词) in Unit 4 by themselves.. 2. Next, read the marked words in turn in small groups. One student read, the others listen and help to correct the wrong pronunciation(纠正错误发音). 3. Then, several students read the words aloud in turn in class and the others correct their wrong pronunciations. 4. Next, play the tape and ask the Ss to read after the tape to correct the pronunciation. 5. Read the words aloud by yourselves again. The teacher walks around the groups to give necessary help. 【设计意图】经过一个学期的学习,学生基本具备读音标识单词的能力,因此在读单词阶段,先让学生试读单词;再通过跟读录音,让学生自我纠正一些不准确的发音;最后通过小组互助和老师个别辅导的方式,使少部分拼读能力不强的同学,也能得到有针对性的帮助,争取人人过朗读关。这一环节,主要是培养学生自主学习和小组互助学习的能力。 Step 3.
