Possessive pronoun It can be divided into the adjective possessive pronouns and nominal possessive pronouns. The former can only be used as adjective but the latter can be used as predictive, subject, object, and object of preposition. ----Whose bag is this? ----It’s mine. ----This is John’s book, not yours. ----Our room is on the third floor and theirs is on the first floor. ----You can use my pen.
