奥地利纳米科技代表团成员简介 Research Institutions 科研机构 Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Austria Company / Austrian Academy of Sciences - Institute Institute of Technology Assessment (ITA) Research focus The NanoTrust-project, funded by several Austrian ministries, has been established in 2007 as an ordinary TA research project and has been extended several times then and will be active at least until 2020. Dr. Gazsó is the leader of this interdisciplinary project and currently chairman of the Austrian Nanoinformation Commission of the Austrian Ministry of Health. The original intention of NanoTrust was  to investigate risk and safety relevant issues regarding the use of nanotechnologies and nanomaterials,  to identify possible research deficits,  to offer an informal and neutral platform for discussion on these topics. NanoTrust has evolved according to the prevailing state of knowledge (respectively the kind of uncertainties associated with safety relevant topics) and specific needs by the regulatory community to create regulatory relevant knowledge. In this sense NanoTrust is part of the national risk management strategy.
