授 课 日 期 授 课 章 节 Unit 1 College Life Listen and Talk 授 课 班 级 目的要求 Help students master some useful expressions and sentence patterns Provide them with some relevant phrases in this part Make sure students can use those newly learnt words and expressions to talk about relevant topics 重点难点 The listening part of this unit is a little difficult Some commonly used words and expressions in talking about college life. 教 学 内 容 与 过 程 教学方法及时间安排 Step 1: Warming-up exercises: Volunteers are welcome to deliver a speech about his own expecting of their college life.(Students should have prepared for this part and they can also refer to the four pictures listed on the book) Step 2: Listening practice: 1.Play the tape recorder for students to listen for three times First time for students to get the general idea and the second time to write down as quickly as possible, the third time to complete 2. Play the tape again to check answers with students and at the same time find out students’ disadvantage and help to improve. Step 3. Dialogue samples: Allow students to listen first and then follow and imitate in a low voice aiming at rectifying their pronunciation. Pick out some key words to give a brief explanation and ask students to remember and learn to use in writing and speaking. Give students five minutes to practice and then ask someone to perform the two dialogues. Step 4. Communicative Tasks: Students are allowed to choose one of the tasks to cooperate with his desk-mate in a few minutes and then make out a short dialogue using the given information and tips.
