On E-Governance Development and Building a Harmonious Society 1.TANG Xiao-feng 2.ZHAO Shu-rong 1.Henry Global Consulting Services, UK 2.School of Humanities and Social Science of UESTC, Chengdu, P.R.China, 610054 Abstract Currently and in the future, the whole strategic target for Chinese social development is to build a prosperous and harmonious society, in which, the government acts both as guider and participator in fulfilling such target. This paper dissertates the significance of administrative reformation in building up a harmonious society; analyzes E-governance’s role played in administrative reformation; and finally proposes, either in view of efficiency or public supervision, that the E- governance is surely to have great impact on building up a harmonious society in China. Key words Harmonious society, Governmental role, Administrative reformation, E-governance, Social and Economic profits 1 The historical implications and realistic notations of building a harmonious society in China “Harmonious Management” is a totally brand-new concept for management science, which demands for fostering a system, in which each beneficiary ‘s behavioral tends to be well balanced restricted by exterior climates. In other words, it refers to achieving the maximum benefits fro each side given certain restraints, which, in fact, almost impossible to be achieved naturally. Furthermore, it demands the maintenance of system and joint efforts from either side. This concept aims to those organizations and individuals participating in economic activities; what’s more, its managerial object is no more than economic activities and targets. Hence, the whole society’s harmonious and sustainable development is of vital political and economic issue to any government all over the world.
