The Construction of Government Policy Framework for the Healthy Development of Informatization in China 1.ZANG Hong-yu 2.WU Tao School of Management, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin P.R.China, 150001 Abstract As the development of the information technology, countries in the world have entered or will enter the era of information society. To promote the healthy development of information in China, it is very important to shorten the process of the informatization in order to keep the pace with the rapid economic development. Some of the problems are emerged and should be solved at the first place. This article analysis the current informatization situation in China, with the focusing in the problems exist and discusses the experiences of developed countries, and gives the suggestions for government to formulate the correct policy framework for the development of informatization in China. The paper argues that Chinese government should put more effort to the improvement on the effective transformation and application of information, and more important, the soft environment construction of the information society in China. Key words Development, Informatization, Government policy 1 Introduction With the highly attention and support from Chinese government, the process of information industrialization is fast. During the period of informatization construction, there are some problems emerged and hint the pace for healthy development of the information society in China. These obstacles include low level of knowledge sharing, the weakness of soft-wire production compare to hare-wire, and lack of competitive ability of information industry etc. This reflects the lost of effective information management along with the construction of information society in government policy.
