III: Presentation Teach the new words. Listen to the tape and repeat them. The teacher teach the words. Get one student to teach. Students take turns to teach until they study the words well. 2. Text Listen to the tape carefully and find the main idea. Listen and repeat. Read and answer: Who went to the Great Wall?(Daming and his father.) When did they go?(At the weekend.) How did they go? (By bus.) What did they do? (They took photos of the mountains.) What did Daming do? (Daming took a photo of his father.) 3. Pronunciation Listen to the tape. Listen and repeat. Read the words more and more. A song Have the students look at the picture and have them describe it.(A big wheel.) Play the spoken version of the song and get the students to repeat the words. Play the tape again and let the students listen or they can sing along with the music. Have the students do actions as they sing. Game Have the students write a sentence about one thing they did yesterday.Say that the sentence doesnt have to be true. Now choose individual students to read out their sentences. Any student who has the same sentence must stand up. Examples S1: I went to the park. Ss (students with the same sentence stand up) S2: I saw a dog. Ss (students with the same sentence stand up) ... IV: Practice Work in group of four. Have the students think and talk about themselves. Where did you go at the weekend? When did you go? How did you go? What did you do?
