The course aims at introducing the objectives, basic techniques and general ideas of Translation criticism. A broad spectrum of perspectives in the study of translation criticism will also be introduced to help students to understand the complicated process of translation and the various factors to be considered in criticizing a work.;When students have finished this course, they should be able to: a) understand the general ideas and basic principles of translation criticism; b) know about the various perspectives in criticizing a translated work; c) do basic analysis of a translated work; d) develop better sense in their own translation. ;本课程的性质和任务;本课程的教学内容和基本要求;三、翻译批评 1．了解翻译批评必须建立在良好的翻译理论之上，因为“翻译批评是翻译理论与实践相联系的一个基本环节。” 2．学会翻译分析，依据翻译标准和翻译方法，鉴别译文的优劣，尤其要从跨文化交际效果上探讨译文的好坏。 3．学会多译本评析，了解翻译错误分析的重要性。 4．了解文学翻译批评的意义。 5．了解应用翻译批评的意义及其重要性。 6．了解翻译批评的对象。 7．了解翻译批评的标准，认清翻译标准的相对性和非恒定性。 8．了解并掌握翻译批评的方法。翻译批评不同于文学批评，但它又不能不借鉴文学批评。但决不能将翻译批评等同于文学批评。 ;Teaching schedule;Assessments 1.
