What is eye contact? The customs and significance of eye contact vary widely between cultures, with religious and social differences often altering its meaning greatly. Eye contact is a subtle thing. Eye contact in Western cultures. Please skim the passage and then match the paragraphs with the main ideas. 1. Why is eye contact sometimes the key to communication? 2.
