The thiosemicabrazones and their complexes have the widespread biological activities Researches of this kind of compounds as broad-spectrum,highly effective，lower toxicity sterilization drugs have been extensively studied.Ferrocene itself has some biological activity,which made the study of Schiff bases of ferrocene became popularity on ferrocene derivatives. Chalcone and its derivatives are important organic intermediates.Based on the properties of chaleones,a serial of reactions，such as Michael addition,Photocyclo addition, Polyme rization etc are normally involved and chalcones are also widely used in coordination chemistry and super-molecular chemistry.Some chalcones and their analogues showed excellent biological activities.The Synthesis and isolation of chaleones from natural Products have drawn much attention in the field of biomedieal,agrono my,and food science. As a kind of versatile intermediates,chalcones have been used widely in the synthesis of organic compounds and medicines. The condensation reactions of ferrocenyl-chalcones-(1-ferrocenyl-3-(2-thiophene) prope none)was used to prepare one sulfur-containing Schiff base:1-ferrocenyl-3- (2-thiophene) propenone amino thiourea Schiff base.
