A stract:By adoptin ways of literature, interview and survey, this paper is based on the data ob
tained from the surveys of the present status of masses sports in some tow ns and counties in the con
struction of new rural township in Wumin County and Yon nin District of Nannin City, Guan xi
Province. Also, it has an analysis on this present status by usin the relative documents from the ov
ernments and bureaus of sports as well as puttin forward some countermeasures and su estions for
the promotion of the development of mass sports in towns and counties in Guan x i.
