ABSTRACTInthetwenty-firstcentury,theInternetisanimportantmediaintheinformationsociety.EspeciallytheLiveVideo,itwinsmoreandmoreaudienceofallagesforitsvariedvideosandvividsound.Streamingmediaon-demandtechnologyandmulticasttechnologyismorepopularInternetapplicationsoftechnologytotransmitvideoprogramsatpresent.Itsextensiveandreal-timecharacteristicshavebecometheprimarysourcetoaccessinformationandknowledgeinworldwide.AlthoughStreamingMediaOn-demandTechnologyandMulticastTechnologyhasmanyadvantagesinInternetapplications,therearesomedisadvantages,suchascomplexnetworkdeployment,heavymanagement,highcost,morebandwidthoccupancyandsoon.NowadaysPeerToPeerStreamingModelcanbedividedintotwocategoriesasfollow.ThefirstcategoryisTreeLikeStructure.ItbasesonMulticasttreeprotocol.Itorganizesnodesintoasingletreeormultipletreesformediadistribution.ZigZagsinglesenderandtheSplitStreamsenderaremoretypical.Thesecondcategoryisnon-structure.Itusesgoosipprotocolandbasesondata-driventoconstituteanon-structureoverlaynetwork.Dataaretransmittedbetweennodesandnodesbyusingpullmode.PPLiveprotocolisanalysedasanexample.Inthispaper,theauthorfocusesonthekeytechniqueoftheNetLiveSystem,basingonthesetwotypesofmodelsin-depthanalysisandcomparison,proposeslocalprioritywaysinaccessingtheresources,improvestheoriginalDHT(DistributedHashTable)programandexplainthenewalgorithmdesignideasandprocesses.Thenewalgorithmreducesthebandwidthoccupancyandgreatlyimprovesthequalityandefficiencyofstreamingmediatransmission.TheauthorsuccessfullydesignsanddevelopsacampusnetworkbasedonP2PlivevideostreamingsystemNetLive.ThefinalpartofthispaperrevealedthesuccessfuldesignoftheNetLivesystemsbyanalyzingthetestresultsindifferentenvironment.Inthecampusnetworkenvironment,differenttypesofqualificationaregiven.Theauthorwidelytestsandanalysistheaveragequeryhops,localroutinglist,smoothdegreesofprogramplaying,theamountofinformationandprovidestheNetLivevideobroadcastsystemsascientificandobjectiveevaluation.Keywords:P2P,streamingmedia,livestreaming目录
