Abst ractOne phenomenon of the globalization of RD—me subsequence of globalization of economics-一is the decentralization of RD Centers．Along with the opening of Chinese market，more and more multinational corporations have located their RD Centers in China,which also bring challenges to our government．Since the 1ate of 1 990s，there has been an intense requirement of research on this topic．Based on the literature review，this thesis analyses the internal and external influencing factors of separate RD Center of MNCs in China．It also perfects the theory of RD intemationalization and provides constructive advice for attracting RD Center in China．This thesis starts with the definition of the basic conceptions in relevant researches．Based on the research achievements review，it brings forward a model of influencing factors to RD Center of MNCs in China and designs the demonstration solution at the same time．In the demonstration part，we visit several separate RD Centers of MNCs in China．Combining with second information collecting and experts interviewing，this thesis mainly use the questionnaire research to get data for statistics analysis，during which the relationship among influencing factors and the different influence from different background of RD Centers are validated，the characteristics of theinfluencing factors and the conditions of RD Centers are summarized．In the end，this thesis discusses the influencing degree of factors and comes out with the conclusion as follows：the most important motivation for setting up RD Center of MNCs in China is the need of cost cutting．Correspondingly，the large potential and scale of China market as well as the sufficient human resources withlower labor costs are the most important environmental factors．However,the government policy is not SO important and the condition of intellectual protection in China is not motivated enough．At last，it bases on the theoretical research conclusions in combination withconcrete circumstance of China,p
