(3) MSCs derived from rabbit are labelld by enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) under mediating pLEGFP-N1. Results: (1) The model of chronic osteomyelitis in rabbit was mede by myeloid puncture needle in a minimally invasive method. After 4 weeks postoperation, X-ray showed that the classic characteristic of chronic osteomyelitis just as inflammatory reaction of soft tissue, formation of bone sequestrum, bone sclerosis, and periosteal proliferation. The score of Norden X-ray showed that mean±S.D. was 3.6±0.8, as well as maxlmum and minimum score were 5 and 2, respectively. The result of histopathology showed that classic bone tissue diapyesis with obvious bone resorption and formation of bone sequestrum. The result of bacteriology showed that Staphylococcus aureus standard strain of ATCC 25923 existed in the proximate, ntermediate piece, and distal tissue of rabbit tibia. The mean bacterial count was 6.8±0.2)×109CFU/g. (2) MSCs derived from rabbit were harvested by density gradient centrifugation and adherent culture.
