UniversitiesinLiaoningProvincePhysicalEducationMajorsempiricalresearchonteachingabilityAbstractAstheteachingsituationofinspectionforphysicaleducationspecialty,bodyhealthandArtDepartmentoftheMinistryofeducationandtheNationalUniversitySportsTeachingSteeringCommitteeheldthefirstcontestin1997,sofar,basicskillscompetitionhasbeensuccessfullyheldsixsessions,duringwhichtheprojectsettings,competitionismorereasonable,therulesmoreperfect,butcontesttechnicallighttothephenomenonisserious.In2003theMinistryofEducationissuedanationalordinarycollegesportseducationundergraduateprogramsrequirements,professionalsportseducationintwenty-firstCenturywillcomplywiththerequirementsofthetimestocultivatetalentsofphysicaleducationcomplex.Inordertotesttheteachingresults,Liaoningprovinceheldthefirstcontest,contestisdividedintofourtypes(basictheoreticalknowledge,practicalskills,professionalskills,professionalandtechnical)anumberofevents,thisstudyprobedinfourcategoriesandtensmallprojectsinvariouscollegesanduniversitiesgapandtheinsufficiency,aimtrainingfromteacherstohelpthecollegewithitsowncharacteristics.72studentsin6universitiesinthisstudytoparticipateinbasicskillscompetitioninLiaoningProvinceastheresearchobject,carriesontheanalysisusingthemethodofliterature,surveymethod,mathematicalstatisticsmethod,layersofdifferentschools,differentgenderinfourcategories(basictheoreticalknowledge,practicalskills,professionalskills,professionaltechnology)differencesbetweenthetensmallprojects,themaindrawthefollowingconclusions:thebasicskillscompetitioncanbasicallyreflectthesportseducationspecializedstudentsteachingability,butthecompetitionstillexistssomeproblems:oneisthenumberofselection,1/3playersisoneoftheinstitutionsoptionalrecommendation;twoistoprepareforalongtime,consumptionofmanpower,materialandfinancialresources,inaddition,thelackofsuitable;futurefromskillgymnasticsteaching.duetothetraditionalideasofeducationandprofessional,basictheoreticalknowledgeofallthestudentstograspthesituationisnotoptimistic.Collegesa
