英语课要引导学生开展丰富多彩实践活动   摘要:英语是一门实践性很强的学科。在实施英语教学时,教师引导学生积极开展英语综合实践活动,提高学生各方面能力。开展英语实践活动的方法很多,在老师的指导下,通过自己持久的训练而达到培养能力,一定能提高成绩。   关键词:英语综合实践活动;即兴表演;英语角;课本剧;话题作文;英语文化氛围      我认为在实施英语教学的过程中,要引导学生积极开展英语综合实践活动,有利于提高学生各方面的能力,极大地调动学生学习英语的积极性,进而提高学生的英语成绩。以下是我所开展的几项综合实践活动的具体做法,供英语同仁参考。   一、值日生即兴表演   每天英语课之前3―5分钟时间,由值日学生轮流向全班同学即兴英语演讲,内容可自行确定,低年级学生可降低内容难度。如:Good morning,everyone!I’m on duty today.My name is WangLei.I’m 14 years old.I’m from Laiwu,a beautiful city.I’m in Class6,Grade 6.Today is Monday.It’s very hot.I have a good friend.His name is WangHuan.We are twin brothers.He is ten minutes older than me.He is as tall as I am.We look the same.We like the same color,and we also like the same clothes.But we also have differences:English and Chinese are my favorite subjects.But WangHuan is good at PE and music.I’m more outgoing than he is.But he is more athletic.We help each other.I help him with his English on weekends,and he shows me how to draw the pictures.We are good friends.   随着学生英语知识的增加,即兴演讲的内容也应该逐步充实、丰富。如:Sometimes the lights are still on though the classroom is bright.Few students want to turn them off.We should try to save the energy.I don’t mind if you keep the lights on when the classroom is dark.Sometimes we need electricity to make our room bright,but not all the time.We should try our best to save the energy.I’m sure if everyone makes up his mind to do so,our country will become stronger and stronger.通过以上活动的开展,培养了学生听说能力及人文素养,同时也使学生在课本中所学的知识得以应用,从而达到了学以致用的目的。   二、开辟英语角,培养学生的交际能力   为了鼓励学生敢于开口讲英语,营造学习英语的良好氛围,我们开辟了英语第二课堂――英语角(English Corner),每周五的大课间及三个饭空时段,学生按时自发地按学习小组去操场、餐厅(Dining Room)、花园(Garden)、阅览室(Reading Room)等场所去自由交流,但要定下一个潜规则,那就是切忌用汉语交流,交谈的内容不限。谈论的话题可以涉及天气、购物、功课、艺术、体育、新闻、影视(或影视明星)、文化(含名著)、就业(含职业)、就医等内容。现就就医话题为例,看学生如何交流:   Tom:You don’t look well.What’s the matter with you,Bob?   Bob:I feel terrible.Tom:Don’t worry.You’d better go to see the doctor.I can help you.(Knocking at the doctor’s office).   Doctor:What’s wrong with you,young man ?   Bob:I
