Kang Restaurant and Resort Management Colorado State University Fort Collins, CO USA Email: skang@ ABSTRACT This study investigated financial source and travel arrangement of Chinese seniors residing in metropolitan areas in the Chinese mainland. Results of a K-mean cluster analysis generated two distinctive clusters of urban mature domestic travelers. Logistic regression analysis revealed that the two clusters were different based on travel seasons, travel companions, transportation, and trip expenditure. Furthermore, the two clusters showed significant differences in their age,
