AbstractAs the basic protocol for Internet communication at present, TCP/IP, which offers a unified way to communicate through different nodes, is widely applied in various communication environments and has become the basis of Internet. But the original TCP/IP protocol is designed and realized for the transmission environment of WAN Internet, it is unable to optimal fit some communication environments which may have higher requirements of real-time. This paper focus on a specific VITA communication environment based on real-time local area network, and makes an effort to research and realize the extended TCP/IP protocol.Firstly, this paper introduced the whole design of VITA real-time communication system, then it introduced the whole design of real-time protocol in VITA real-time communication system from the perspective of extended real-time, including how to develop real-time protocol in the system, how to improve the real-time quality of the protocol from its implementation mechanism as well as internal algorithm level. And in the following sections, it detailed the design and implement of the real-time protocol, including the realization of open-source protocol grifting in the main node and node environment, the implementation of the structure design of how the protocol serve the transmission, and the change from the real-time aspect of the internal algorithm. In the end, it is the simulation and experimental results of the proposed real-time protocol, and its successful application in the real project system.This paper ultimately achieve real-time protocol in main and sub-nodes of the project system through grift the excellent open-source real-time protocol LwIP transplantation into Windows RTX real-time extension system and no-operating virtual machine environment, Extended real-time of the protocol from its implementation and internal algorithm level.
