英语诗歌衔接手段和文体探究 　　摘要：衔接理论经过三个历史时期的发展，已日趋成熟和完善。本论文把Halliday 与Hasan的三种衔接机制，照应、省略与词汇衔接运用到诗歌文体分析中。把英诗作为语料，运用衔接机制，对诗歌进行文体分析。一方面，对衔接理论在诗歌分析中的应用进行尝试性验证；另一方面，对英诗的文体价值在一定程度上作了探讨。 　　关键词：衔接；诗歌；照应；省略；词汇衔接 Cohesion and Literary Style Exploration of English Poems --！ 　　Abstract：Cohesion theory has been gradually developed into an intact theoretical system through three developing periods. This thesis applied Halliday and Hasan’s three traditional cohesive devices such as reference， ellipsis， and lexical cohesion to the analysis of English poems. The thesis applies cohesion devices to English poems， and analyzes the stylist of English poems. On the one hand，it aims to verify cohesive devices selected for analysis to English poems， on the other hand， it aims to probe into the stylistic values of English poems. 　　Key words：cohesion； poem； reference； ellipsis； lexical cohesion 　　1.Introduction 　　Generally speaking， the development of cohesion theory can be divided into three periods： the enlightening period， the establishment of the theory， and the developing period. From Jakoboson’s earliest study of cohesion theory in the 1960s to the establishment of cohesion theory in 1976 by Halliday and Hasan with their co-authored book， Cohesion in English， published， from Hasan’s revised theoretical model in 1985 to the theoretical models of Hu Zhuanglin in 1994，Zhang Delu in 2003， and Liu Shisheng in 1998， the categories of the study of cohesion theory has been extended ranging from cohesion within the text to cohesion beyond the text， from the angle of Functional Grammar to the ones of pragmatics and cognitive linguistics. 　　2.Halliday and Hasan’s Cohesion Theory and Its Application in Analysing English Poems 　　2.1 Reference 　　In Systemic Functional Grammar， Halliday and Hasan mentioned that some items in every language have the property of reference.
