Through the discussion of these topics, they can make the students to understand English language deeply and learn about the trend of English development. With the development of times, and using English widely around the world, there formed English characterized by state, nationality and local area with absorbing, blending and creativity. Language knowledge aims :to grasp some words and expressions such as, play a role in /because of/ come up/ play a part in and learn the grammar- the indirect speech of the imperative clause and enable students to talk about the differences between Am. English and Br. English. Ability aims :to learn to improve students’ listening and speaking ability by reading and practicing the dialogue; Learn to make dialogue using request commands; learn to give opinions and organize ideas by way of brainstorming; learn to make a poster showing your ideas clearly. Learning Strategy :form a simple learning strategy which fits yourself. Affect and Attitude: to have awareness of independent learning ;clear and durative learning motivation. culture :to learn about the different expressions of American English and British English, and to form the accidence of Cross-cultural communication. 1.3.Teaching difficulties and key points Teaching difficulties: the listening exercises such as 2.and 4.and to get useful information and to understand words used in British and American which have the same meanings and some dialect accent.
