摘要由于缺乏外语学习环境,说和写一直是中国学生学习英语的薄弱环节。如何提高中 国学生的英语写作水平一直是教师和学者关注的问题。背诵这一传统方法在语文教学中 应用广泛并取得了显著的成效。虽然关于背诵对写作的作用的研究很多,但对基础阶段 高中生的研究却不多,专门针对农村或偏远地区的研究则更少。本论文以二语习得理论 和认知心理学理论为依据,试图通过教学实验探讨背诵对英语处于初级阶段,语言输入 严重不足的农村高中生的写作水平的影响。实验结果表明,长期大量的背诵有助于英语 学习者英语写作能力和水平的普遍提高。论文重点分析了农村高中的写作教学现状和农村高中生所处的现状。在相关二语习 得理论观照下,作者以濮阳县第一中学高一年级两个平行班的122名学生为研究对象, 进行了为期26周的教学实验,并通过数据分析软件数据得出结论。实验结果表明:接 受背诵训练的学生的写作水平和成绩要明显高于未参加背诵训练的学生;背诵能为写 作积累单词、短语、句子和篇章结构;背诵能减少语法错误和英语汉化现象。同时,一 份关于背诵的态度和看法的调查问卷结果表明,背诵可以减少写作时的畏惧和焦虑,增 强写作信心。本论文的研究为农村高中的英语教学提供了启示:我们在尝试新的教学法的同时, 还应充分考虑到所授对象的具体情况,不可盲目崇拜和模仿不适合实际的学习方法,背 诵这种传统的方法并不一定过时。关键词:背诵,可理解性输入,英语写作,输出ABSTRACTSpeaking and writing have always been weak points of Chinese students in learning English because of lacking of foreign language learning environment.Teachers and scholars are always concerned about how to improve Chinese students’English writing.Recitation—a traditional method is widely used in Chinese class teaching and has achieved remarkable Success.Though there have been many studies on the relationship between recitation and writing,researches on senior high school students are inadequate.Especially the studies on rural or remote areas are fewer.Based on second language acquisition theory andcognitive psychology theory,this thesis tries to explore the relation between recitation and writing of rural high school students whose English level is at the primary stage.The experiment results show that large quantities of recitation help the learners’general improvement of English writing ability and level.This paper places emphasis on the status of English writing in rural high school and the students present situation.Under the direction of relevant Second l anguage Acquisition theories,the author does a teaching experiment.Two classes of 1 22 students in Puyang County No.1 senior high school are chosen assubjects.The teaching experiment lasts 26 weeks.And the author finally gets conclusion from the data of the SPSS software.The experiment results show that the stude
