AbstractTheRCframestructureinfilledwithunreinforcedmasonrywallsisoneofthemostcommonstructuresystemsinourcountry.Accordingtotheexistingdesigncodeofbuildingstructures,theinfilledwallsaretypicallyconsideredasnonstructuralelementsandoftenoverlookedinthestructuralanalysisanddesign.Theyareonlyconsideredastheloadappliedtotheframestructureandthereductionfactorfortheperiodofthewholestructurestoconsidertheimpactoftheinfillsontheframes.ResearcheshavebeenfoundthattheRCframestructurebuildingsinfilledwithunreinforcedmasonrywallsareveryseriouslydamagedduringearthquakes.Thisphenomenonindicatesthatthepreviousu
