To do this through the investigation of eight hospitals in Southwest quality of life in patients with chronic hepatitis B, combined with TCM analysis of the main factors syndrome, health education and clinical treatment of effectively provide the basis to expect to improve the lives of the entire population of chronic hepatitis B Quality. Materials and methods June 2009 to December 2010 in Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Chengdu, 8 hospitals and other infectious diseases hospital collected 676 cases of chronic hepatitis B patients gender, age, education level, tongue, pulse, alanine Aminotransferase, albumin, total bilirubin and other information. The researchers collected health of patients with chronic conditions fill out the questionnaire (SF-36). All data were SPSS13.0 software data processing. Results Chronic hepatitis B patients with spleen, liver and gallbladder damp heat, liver and spleen of three heat syndrome more common. Quality of life in patients with chronic hepatitis B with the dimension of the scores of the standard score points of comparison, in PF, RP, BP, GH has four dimensions were significantly different (p 0.05), statistically significant. Vitality, social function, emotional function, mental health four dimensions（P 0.05） not statistically significant.
