求别样的人们”，无论怎么样，艾芜照着自己的意愿走出了他别样的人生道路，而我的人生道路，还得我自己去走。2011年7月底改定人生边缘的漂泊与追寻——艾芜与《南行记》摘要《南行记》是一部充满了希望的书。作为最能体现艾芜创作成就的《南行记》，历来是研究者们孜孜不倦的研究对象。本文选取艾芜及其《南行记》作为研究对象，切入点则以流浪汉小说的理论研究入手，试图从整体上把握《南行记》作为中国现代文学史上唯一的流浪汉小说的艺术特征和文化内涵。由于《南行记》的创作前后持续了差不多半个世纪，再结合艾芜沧桑的人生历程，《南行记》因此也最能体现艾芜对文学、对社会、对人生的探索与思考。这是一部用生命演绎而成的人生乐章。全文主要包括绪论、正文和结语三个部分。绪论部分主要介绍了《南行记》的创作背景以及本文的研究意义。正文分两节，第一节考证了《南行记》的版本变迁过程，然后结合艾芜的南行对《南行记》做了一个整体上的定位；第二节是论文的重中之重，主要基于流浪汉小说的研究理论，把《南行记》界定为“狭义上的流浪汉小说”，再结合艾芜个人及其南行历程，然后对《南行记》的艺术特征和流浪者群像进行更深入的研究，以希望揭示《南行记》作为艾芜的生命之书所达到的艺术高度。结语部分则主要谈了艾芜的文学使命感和社会责任感。本文试图实现这样的目的：通过对《南行记》的探讨，进一步深入认识艾芜其人其文，并由此引发对当下社会及其人的生存状态和精神状态的思考。关键词：艾芜；《南行记》；流浪汉小说；艺术特征；流浪者群像WanderandSeekontheMarginsofLife---AiWuandAJourneytotheSouthAbstractAJourneytotheSouthisanovelwhichisfullofhope.AstherepresentativeofAiWu’swritingachievements,thenovelbecomesmanyscholars’objectofstudy.ThisdissertationselectsAiWuandhisAJourneytotheSouthastheobjectofmystudy.Onthebasisofthetheoriesaboutthepicaresquenovel,IattempttocomprehendtheartcharacteristicsandculturalconnotationofAJourneytotheSouthwhichistheonlypicaresquenovelinthehistoryofChineseliterature.ThewritingofthisnovellastsnearlyhalfacenturyandAiWuhasexperiencedmanyvicissitudesoflife.AJourneytotheSouthistheveryworkthatrepresentsAiWu’sexplorationandthoughtofliterature,societyandlife.AiWuuseshislifeexperiencetocomposetherhythmoflife.Thedissertationcoversthreeparts:preface,textandconclusion.Theprefacedealswiththebackgroundofcreatingthenovelanditsresearchsignificance.Thetextisdividedintotwoparts.Thefirstpartinvestigateshowthenovel’sversionchangesandidentifiesthenovelaccordingtoAiWu’sjourneytothesouth.Thesecondpartisthemostimportantpartofthedissertation.AJourneytotheSouthisdefinedasthepicaresquenovelinanarrowsenseofthewordaccordingtothetheoriesaboutthepicaresquenovel.Idoanin-depthresearchontheartcharacteristicsandtheimagesofagroupoftrampsinthenovel.Itrytoevaluatetheartisticachievementofthenovel.TheconclusiondiscussesAiWu’sliterarymissionandhisresponsibilityforthesociety.Thisdissertationi
