ABSTRACTAsalargemanufacturingcountry，Chinaseconomyisinacriticalperiodoftransformationandupgradingonindustrialstructure.Sincethereformingandopening，ourcountrysmanufacturingindustryhasmadeagreatprogress，butonthewhole，itstechnologylevel，productionlevel，andscientificresearchstrengtharestilllaggedcomparedtodevelopedcountriesandregions.Themanufacturingindustryisstillinthemiddle-to-lowdevelopmentlevel，andhigh-endmanufacturingindustrysuchasadvancedmanufacturingisrelativelag.Theoretically，weknowthattheindustriessdevelopmentarenotisolated，instead，theyareinterrelated.Lookingattheexperiencesonthedomesticandforeignindustriesdevelopment，wecanfindthatthedevelopmentofmanufacturingindustryisinseparablefromthesupportofproducerservicesindustry，becausetheindustryschainendssuchasRD，logistics，andbrandmarketingareallbelongedtoproducerservicesindustry，whichcontainhigh-addedvalues.Therefore，theresearchonhowproducerservicesaffetthedevelopmentofmanufacturingindustrybecomesmeaningful.Atthebeginning，thispaperintroducestheconceptandcharacteristicsofproducerservices，analysesthehistoricchangebetweenproducerservicesindustryandmanufacturingindustry，includingthestagewhenproducerservicesembeddedinthemanufacturing，andthestagewhentheproducerservicesindustryseparatedfrommanufacturingindustry.Thenanalysesthetheoryonhowproducerservicesindustrymakesuseofitstechnicalinnovation，organizationinnovationandsysteminnovationtopromotethegrowthofefficiencyonmanufacturingindustry.Thenweanalysisthepresentsituationsofchinasproducerservicesindustryandmanufacturingindustrybriefly.Inthepartofempiricalanalysis,thisarticlechooses9relevantprovincesandcitiesastheresearchobjectsintheeastareaofourcountry，whereproducerservicesindustryandmanufacturingindustryarerelativelydeveloped.Thenweselectthelaborproductivityofmanufacturingindustryastheexplainedvariable，andinthesametimeselectexplanatoryvariablesthatcanrepresenttheproducerservicesstechnologicalinnovationcapability，organizationinnovationcapabilityandsysteminnovationcapability，an
