Yet experience tells us it is not the truth . Through the two variables of employee job satisfaction and job performance , an empirical study was conducted to testify what the motivation - hygiene theory said . The study result shows that the rela- tionship between employee job satisfaction on motivation factors and employee job performance is not significant , so is the relationship between employee job satisfaction on hygiene factors and employee job performance .
