And I will teach them new words cricket, mosquito, pest and so on. 教学重点 The pupils read and understand the passages,and finish the writing , matching, colouring and sticking tasks. 教学难点 The pupils read and understand the passages,and finish the writing , matching, colouring and sticking tasks. 教学过程 Step1 Warming up ⑴ Greetings. T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you? T: I’m fine too. ⑵Let’s sing a song. Step2 Lead in Communication ⑴T: What are they doing? What did you see? ⑵Show the pictures and ask: What insects can you see? (引导学生找出这些动物的一些共性:身体、生活环境等。) Step3 New lesson ⑴Now I want to introduce some insects to you.Do you know :What’s an insect?Let’s read :insect,insect. Write down the title. ⑵Draw a circle. T:Guess: Is it a /an …? Write: Is it a ? Yes, it is. No, it isn’t. (老师一边画一边鼓励孩子们猜。一步步呈现出a bee。在这个过程中会有孩子说出身体部位单词时,及时鼓励。出现Is it an …?的时候进行强调。) T: Draw a head,two eyes ,a mouth Draw a body (Write “body”.) The body is soft.(老师用手势告诉孩子soft的意思,可以让他们先猜一猜).Set some examples to explain “soft”. T:Do you know “hard”? It’s relative to “soft”. The wall is .(hard or soft?) ⑶Draw a wing Draw another wing. Write down “a pair of wings”.First teach “wings”,then teach “a pair of”.Read after me ,a pair of wings,a pair of wings. Teach: two pairs of wings. Read:wing—wings— two pairs of wings. ⑷Draw a dragonfly. Ask: Is it a bee /dragonfly? T:Is it an insect? T:They are insects. ⑸An insect has a head,a body and six legs.And it has two pairs of of wings.Most of them are not hard.They are hard. ⑹Show a picture of dog.And ask: Is it an insect? T:Why?
