Determining some of the physical and chemical properties of the Semen Torreya oil and its antioxidant activity.The acid value, iodine value, saponification value and peroxide value is 0.86 mgKOH/g，118.65 gI2/100g，172.42 mgKOH/g and 4.55 mmol/kg The Semen Torreya oil could scavenge the DPPH free radicals and hydroxyl free radicals, half of the clearance(IC50) is 4.47mg/mL and 2.26mg/mL,but it could not effectively scavenge the super oxygen anion free radicals.
