The rat of one canal teeth and two canals teeth were respectively 100％ and 0.00% by radiograph at a horizontal angles of 0, 97.16% and 2.84% by macrography #15K- file, 95.24% and 4.76% by dental operative microscope, 90.10％ and % by spiral CT scanning. The results from five methods were compared with each other by “McNemar”: There was no difference between dental cross section and spiral CT scanning (P=1.00000.005). There were differences among dental cross section and dental operative microscope, macrography #15K- file, radiograph at a horizontal angle of 0 (P=0.00390.005; P=0.00050.001; P=0.00000.001). There was no difference between spiral CT scanning and dental operative microscope (P=0.00780.0005). There were differences among spiral CT scanning and macrography #15K- file, radiograph with a horizontal angle of 0 (P=0.00100.005; P=0.00000.001). There was no difference between dental operative microscope and macrography #15K- file (P=0.25000.005). There was difference between dental operative microscope and radiograph at a horizontal angle of 0 (P=0.00000.001). There was difference between macrography #15K- file and radiograph at a horizontal angle of 0 (P=0.00000.001). Validity of these five methods according to γ is dental cross section spiral CT scanning dental operative microscope PAGE PAGE VIII macrography #15K- file radiograph at a horizontal angle of 0. CONCLUSIONS：Some of mandibular central incisors have two canals, dentist should pay more attention to avoid missing canals. When radiograph at a horizontal angle of 0 and macrography #15K- file can’t effectively find two canals, we suggest using the other methods such as Radiograph with an excursion angle, dental operative microscope and spiral CT scanning.
